Location: Good Samaritan Hospital Auditorium. 255 Lafayette Ave. (Route 9) Suffern, NY 10901.

Course Description: This conference will educate primary and specialty providers on the scope of the opioid addiction problem in adolescents and young adults both nationally and locally. Through lecture and case presentations, attendees will acquire a personal perspective on the impact of opioid addiction on patients and families, and Improve their understanding of the range of medical treatment options for opioid addiction. In addition, faculty will teach skills regarding the screening, engagement and psychological

treatment of individuals affected. *5.5 CME credits applied for / CE credits will be available.

Course Director: Stephen J. Ferrando, MD,  Professor and Chairman, Department of Psychiatry Behavioral Health Center, Westchester Medical Center.

Event is in conjunction with The Rockland County Executive and Department of Health and the Kyle Goldberg Memorial Foundation.
